superimposed emotional states
Today we look at what happens when different emotional states overlap.
Think of a simple sentence, how many times have you said to someone or you have been the recipient.
Pull yourself together.
What l ' thrill at the primary level?
fear.
you're afraid of something that involves a danger or a threat, and so you may not be prepared.
what other emotional states are superimposed on experience and transform it into "courage"?
Usually different resources are needed : transcend fear with a strong purpose, passion, determination, sense of responsibility.
When all these states are combined and overlap, it emerges something different and greater than the sum of its parts.
it is almost impossible to break down the "courage" in the elements that make it up: it is "greater than the sum of its parts." Many emotional overlays are in fact states that can be defined Gestalt - see and seize opportunities, to forgive, to have unconditional self-esteem, strength of character, and so on. These are not simple states, and even a superposition of states: they are a superposition of states richly faceted, complex and fi ed layers, which have become something more. How do we define what happens to us? it is not just a state layers fi ed, a transcend and include in a category another layer: is your reaction to yourself. it's a reaction to your primary reactions. it is your consciousness that reflects on itself when you step back and observe yourself and your experiences to build a new level of presence mental. for this meta-states overlap with the primary states. If you bring calm to your anger, you can create a calm anger. If you add respect for others, we, would you calm anger and respectful. Add kindness, and you will calm anger, respectful and kind. Each meta-state adds new qualities and facets to your primary state. All these overlaps are unconscious and we live in them. For further information:
